Blast From the Past

What you need to know about the past is that no matter what has happened, it has all worked together to bring you to this very moment. And this is the moment you can choose to make everything new. Right now. ~Author Unknown

How I love my catalogs let me count the ways... About 12 years ago I looked forward to babysitting my cousin, Kara, as Aunt Jean always had the coolest catalogs to look at. Since then, I have acquired my own collection and given it's the holiday season, I'm seeing more and more. This morning we stopped by the mail box; we hadn't checked it for a couple of days and low and be hold there was at least a half of dozen catalogs of different sorts. One I had never heard of called Bits and Pieces. As I started thumbing through a certain item immediately caught my eye!

It's called THE TIME MACHINE - Time will literally roll by with this amazing clock. Every 60 seconds, a chrome ball comes onto the minute track and takes its place in line. Then, once an hour, all 59 minute balls roll down the track and out of sight. H.G. Wells would have loved the reliability of this time machine. A fascinating classic for all time.

About 29 years ago give or take - I remember going to Dr. Ferrell's office with my dad and being fascinated with this clock that entertained the waiting room. I intently watched the balls shift, only I wanted to make the balls go faster. I liked it so much that I told my dad we should get one for mom for a present. He asked if I thought she'd like it and immediately returned with a 'YES' thinking I WOULD LIKE IT! : ) She never got the clock.

I'll leave you with this - this too was waiting for me in my inbox this morning. Can't say I don't blame the dog! ; )

Peace

The clock thing is cool. I love stuff like that. I STILL want one of those things that has all the pins in them and when you press, for example, your hand into it, it makes an impression of it. I love those things. Our dentist office has these cool moving metal things that do differnt things in each examination room. I think they are there to take your mind off being at the dentist. I love looking at them.
The video was hilarious. I was cracking up so loud that Sean finally asked me what I was laughing at.
