The Shack - the book

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love.
But the greatest of these is love.

I've been reading those book for some time now and not only because I left it behind on accident at the orthodontist office either. (It was absent for a week and I was really lost without being about to read the book, it had become a page turner!) The book isn't a quick, light hearted read. As a matter of fact, some parts get very deep in not only emotion but thoughts.

Reading the book has helped me to try and see the 'good' in people and situations. Something that was easy for me to do even became easier. It's shown me how I can relate to not only Jesus, but to 'Papa' God and the Holy Spirit. The latter two is something I don't grasp as well.

I'm almost done with the book. I might have already finished it had I not picked up "Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing" with Tyler again. That too is a good book and we share some laughs together.

So if you're looking for a book to pick up and read - try THE SHACK. I know it gets mixed reviews from the Christian realm, some feel it's too new aged where others find it to their portion. For my belief, I think its something between your personal relationship with the Holy Trinity.

Peace
