Have I ever mentioned I like theatre?

I week from tomorrow, I will be enjoying myself at the Mo. Rep. losing myself in A Christmas Carol. I have never seen this production and I'm so excited to attend. I'm taking Tyler and going with a friend and her daughter. I wanted prime seats but have to settle for what they had left. I hope there isn't a bad seat in the house.

We've also made tentative plans to see A Tuna Christmas at the American Heartland Theatre in Crown Center. I'm holding out for half price tickets. "It's Christmas time in Tuna...Texas, that is! Tuna is the third smallest town in Texas, where the Lion's Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies. With only 24 hours before Christmas, all comic hell is about to break loose. Amongst the others I would also like to see is The Nutcracker and Phantom of the Opera. But goodness gracious, by the time services charges and fees are added it's the same price as the ticket! OK, not that bad but almost.

Something to cheer about: I went shopping last night and was able to wear a size smaller in jeans. WooHoo! I've lost 20.5 pounds, slowly but surly. I wished it was going faster, but those who encourage me tell me at least I am going in the right direction...
