You measure yourself by the people who measure themselves by you. - Carter Chambers
We live, we die, and the wheels on the bus go round and round. - Edward Cole
Oh my goodness, I loved this movie!!! If you haven't seen it, you need to. A lot of good advice not to mention some laughs! Everyone should have a bucket list - mine would be along the lines of Carter's list.
Poor Ty, he wanted me to take him to football and I said I would - but darn it - I had a movie to watch. Luckily Brian took him and I started the movie promptly at 5:50p when they left. As I've been watching these movies lately I have also been making seed bead necklaces - nothing fancy - just stringing them along. On occasion I'd have to stop and love on my dOg then return to beading. When the movie ended and because I was all along I let the waterworks out holding back nothing. Then dOg came to love on me.
Once I cleared up, I let him out to potty and grabbed the toenail clippers (thinking maybe this would help get him up the stairs - he had some really long ones). I bought these when we first got Zipz and had maybe used them once. I went outside and sat on the patio and dOg came and laid right beside me. I was timid and didn't want to hurt him. He wasn't exactly thrilled either. I managed to do the front paws just fine. There was only one time I think I went too far and he gently pulled his paw away which I retried and clipped his nail at a safe link. I did notice one nail was split very high up. I'll have to watch it and wait for it to grow out. He thought we were all done but still had the back to do. That was a little more difficult to get to as he wasn't helping me out much to make them readily available. Once we were done he was a happy-go-lucky dog again! Still didn't make it up the stairs though.
Picked up Ty from football practice came home to have him take a shower while I cleaned the kitchen. In bed at an early time. Read another chapter re: Chelsea's life - I'm looking forward to the end. Let me know if you're interested in reading her book and I'll happily pass it along to you.
Ty's with gma Wanda today. He has a summer party to attend today and she was ok with being his chauffeur. Tonight's busy with dOg's appt, fball practice, and I'm doing a haircut. No time for a movie tonight. I have left - Over Her Dead Body, Stardust, & Spiderwick. None that I'm thrilled about but Senior Snyders suggested them -
Peace!

You are brave to cut the dogs nails. We always have to have my dad come over to help Sean do Koko's. I go in the kids room and turn the TV up real loud. Koko hates it and I can't stand to hear her struggle.
We are looking for to seeing you guys on Saturday too! Are you skating? I am too scared I will mess my ankle up again so I am not!
I was thinking that I may be able to find aprons at that corner store in downtown LS - can't remember the name but it is one of my favorite stores. If not there, GV has alot of antique stores. Let me know when you want to go!
