Get over it already!
With yesterday post, Lisa and I were talking about old times and ex-boyfriends. I told her I missed Ned. Yes, Ned was my boyfriend in 7th grade. She says, "Awww, do you realize that was 21 years ago?!" - - - "Holy $h!t, bat girl! It has been!" Then it hits me like a ton of bricks... My very own son will be in 7th grade next year!!!
Gone are the days of Wet N' Wild black eyeliner, 98 cent Aqua Net hairspray, ripped jeans, amongst the other things.
This weekend will mark the 19th anniversary of... well let's just say I got a bad taste of adulthood that has stayed with me to this date and made me who I am today. Regrets? Not many, life lessons learned.
