Not In the Mood

They call it PMS because Mad Cow Disease was already taken. ~Author Unknown

Thursday I didn't write as I had a brain fart. A brain fart followed by the curse of woman. Let me be the first to say - my attitude sucks! Sorry Dom, you may need earmuffs, - just skip to the next paragraph. The last few months - the red monster has been worse than before. Aunt Flo tends to overstay her welcome - what the hell? Her welcome?! I NEVER welcomed her in the @!#$% first place. My mood swings are terrible! I still try to put on a smile and deal but it's become more of a challenge. I'm tired, cranky, snippy, achy, crabby, cramppy and crappy! Then to top it off with a cherry (no pun intended) I have a chat this morning with a good friend who is on her way out! LUCKY GIRL!!! As I re-read this, it's a little - OK - a lot on the raunchy side but I don't give a @!#$%, I need to vent.

I hate football season and it hasn't even started yet. I'm speaking of Tyler's team. It is so flippin' time consuming. Tyler was supposed to have a patrol leader meeting tonight for Scouts. But here comes a flying wrench late last night... WEIGH IN TOMORROW NIGHT 6:05 PROMPT! And Ty's Scout meeting is at 5:45. Brian is out of town this coming weekend on a fishing trip with the boys. Ah... me time... another wrench - FIRST GAME 3:30 SATURDAY!!! OK, OK, I knew the game was going to be Saturday but last year we had most early morning games!!! And I already have a commitment at 4:30 that day. Err!

Since I despise being in a nasty mood, let me try to list at least 10 positive things that happened since I last posted...

* CONGRATULATIONS to Tyler for making Tenderfoot! This is his first rank in Boy Scouts.

* My mom spent the weekend with us. We always have a wonderful time, laugh and laugh then laugh some more.

* Bought a live Rubber plant from Lowe's with a automatic watering bottle for another plant at home. It's a trial, if it works - I'll buy another one. Apparently, I have a problem with over watering.

* Bought poly fill to fluff my pillows on the downstairs sofa. (that's a stretch for listing something positive!) Do they still make Shrinky Dinks? Tyler and I went to Michael's this weekend and we were looking in the kids crafts. I couldn't find them. I wanted to pick up a paint by number too. But I held back, I did buy more seed beads for making jewelry. Tyler bought a model car - 06 Mustang. He enjoys putting them together.

* Enjoyed the evening air last night, sat on the deck and read more of The Last Lecture. I'm half way through, it's been a slow read since I've watched the Last Lecture several times - so I pretty much know what the books about.

* Taken dOg on a couple of walks through the neighborhood. He gets SO excited when I break out the leash!

* Tyler and I watched Saving Sarah Cain, a movie I bought on a recommendation about Amish children. It was a good wholesome family movie. Mom, Brian and I also watched The Bank Job - very good - Thanks Dom for the recommendation on that one!

* Can't remember if I mention I received my P.D. jewelry in the mail or not. But it's here I wore it Sat and got compliments on it. I also received my sugar spa body butter and perfume. LOVE IT! I'm wearing it today.

* Had an awesome hit in a baseball/kickball game we played at the Scout camp out Sunday morning!

* Brushed dOg and took out about a pound of undercoat!

That was a struggle - but listing positive items have helped to calm me down. Two funnies, my poor momma - one at her expense - but bless her heart - she walked right into it!!!

On the way to taking Ty to his Scout camp out this weekend the back roads were congested with those pesky moRon bicyclist hogging the road. (Probably the same ones Dom wrote about too.) Mom spoke up and said, "Tyler, do you know Santa Claus brought me a bike for Christmas and I haven't even ridden it yet. Can you believe that?" Tyler's response, "Yes, old people don't ride bikes" - Mom was pretty taken back by that and I just laughed!!! Then Tyler went on to tell her it's not a good idea to ride a bike where she lives because she has a gravel drive way and lives right off the highway too.

Then while Tyler and I were at Summit Woods shopping center, Ty pointed out 2 older women both with white hair (that's how Tyler tells if someone is "old") that were SMOKING and one even had a TATTOO!!! Tyler thought that was VERY strange to see! ; ) - Those second class citizens - you cant take them anywhere! But I love them just the same.

Peace!

((Kel)) I hope you are feeling better. I know how hard it can be. Try drinking some milk or anything that is dairy and that may help you. It has something to do with the calcium working with the highten estrogen levels, yada, yada, yada. You might even try the massage lady - that may help relieve some tension.
Ty is so gosh darn cute! Don't you love how kids let us know how it truly is? Last night K grabbed a pair of panties out of her drawer after her shower and proclamined that they were not hers because they were HUGE! Thanks!!....being that I am the only female in the house the HUGE panties must be mine!
