You know you've read a good book when you turn the last page and feel a little as if you have lost a friend. ~Paul Sweeney
For Christmas I got a dozen books, that's right 12 books! I don't know where to begin as I want to read them all first! I received
The Christmas Sweater
The Courtship of Nelly Fisher (3 books in the series)
Front of the Class
A Smile as Big as the Moon
The Lucky One
Night Swimming
The Memory Keeper's Daughter
Tuesdays with Morrie
The Story of Edgar Sawtelle
If Life is a Game - These are the Rules
This should keep me busy for awhile. I did finally finish Behind the Scenes by Elizabeth Keckley. It was a very interesting book but not necessarily a page turner.
For my movie interest of the month of January I want to see the following...
Slumdog Millionaire
Bride Wars
Valkyrie
Seven Pounds
Defiance
New In Town
I will have the pleasure of seeing Paul Blart: Mall Cop on January 16th with Tyler and 2 of his friends for his birthday - woot, woot. I am afraid this movie has all the funny parts in the trailer. Afterwards will be dining at Culver's for a Butter Burger! yum, yum.
I haven't had the chance to see the following yet and will even have to catch some on DVD as I have already scoped out there 'release to DVD dates'...
Appaloosa (Western)
Igor (my movie star husband John Cusack)
The Lucky Ones (Rachel McAdams)
The Express (Football)
The Secret Life of Bees (book based - should probably read it instead)
Pride & Glory (Edward Norton)
The Boy in Stryped Pajamas (WWII)
Role Models (sick twisted humor)
Four Christmases (Reese & Vince - I love them!)
Peace
