Mirth is God's medicine. Everybody ought to bathe in it. ~Henry Ward Beecher
Yesterday was not a pleasant day for me. By evening I was trying to change it. I kept myself busy while Brian took Ty to football practice. I unloaded, reloaded and ran the dishwasher. Did several loads of laundry while making posters and price tents for our up and coming Show N Sell Boy Scout popcorn sales. I had opened the windows & turned on the attic fan to enjoy the evenings cool breeze. Even though I was busy, it was nice to sit & work on something rather than rushing here then there. Closer to the time the boys were expected back, I reheated chicken enchilada soup I had made over the weekend. Ty wanted Price Chopper's Chopper Chicken Tuesday Special. Maybe next week, we needed to eat what we had at home.
Once home we took our bowls of soup and watched a little TV. Caught the tail end of Wipe Out, made me laugh. People are so silly. Then we watched some of Epic Movie - not a Ty movie. Bri & I were secretly laughing at all the innuendos that were flying over Ty's head. Apparently it's what I needed. That and the good night sleep I got. Now only if my sinuses would clear up!
Peace

Kay keeps asking to see Epic Movie. I don't know what it is about.Would it be appropriate for her?
I like staying home too even though I have alot of things to do it is better than running all over the place.
Chickee...we need to get together soon. I miss seeing ya!
Epic movie isn't a kid's movie I believe they even dropped the F bomb once. We are lenient on some of the movies we let Ty see. Truth be told, we are too lenient! But he watches them with us too - which probably makes little difference. Stac, you didn't let Kay have hard candy till her 13th birthday ; ) (LOL - I love you for it!) I'm not sure that you'd want her watching Epic Movie. Hence - she is 13, watch it with her. It will probably embarrass you more than her. But when you do - I want to be around to watch!!! LOL!
Bri & I were teasing. He'd tell me, "I cannot beleive you let him see this!" I'd shoot back, "It was YOUR mother who took him to see it!"
I'm right there with ya, on the hard candy. It should be banned from the market. : ) Scares me to death. It's good to know someone else feels the same way. BB
Hi Kelly!
Ok....I don't get the "hard candy" thing. What does the term "hard candy" mean these days??? Bring me up to what it means in today's world would ya???
