Darling, darling, darling.... : )
Do I have a story for you! But before that I do apologize for being absent. I've been busy at work and also had to APPLY, yes apply, for my OWN job. (crazier things have happened I guess) We are in another round of wonderful layoffs - when does it end? - It doesn't.
OK, so Monday was an OK day or so I thought. Woke up fine, went to work fine, treated Brian to lunch since he saved me last week, came back to work fine. Then all the sudden - it erupted my stomach. I was sitting here at my desk working and had to make a mad dash to the restroom. I didn't even have time to latch the door. Over and over and more violently it came up. At this point it was more dry heaves than anything else. Once I thought I was OK, I washed my hands... - Oops there it goes again - running back to the stall. At this point I was sweating profusely, had my sweater off and about to pass out on the floor. Once again I gathered myself and made it back to my cube. I called Melanie (co-worker) over to help me. Help me how? I don't know - maybe just to hold my hand? I started getting sick all over again in my trash can, I couldn't make it back to the restroom as I felt terribly faint. Melanie, an Angel, went and got me ice to put on my neck and then more for my forehead. I called Bri and told him he HAD TO TAKE ME HOME NOW. I remember Melanie rubbing my back. I know we had conversation - but I don't remember what I said. I'm sure I wasn't making any sense. She walked me to the car, making sure I had my legs that I wasn't going to pass out. She and Bri poured me in and that's all she wrote. Until about half way home. I woke up out of a dead sleep to puke in a HY-VEE bag. I laugh now because Brian was having a conniption fit as I was getting sick in his vehicle. Once home I unloaded the bags to him and headed straight for bed. I didn't wake till that next morning!
Tyler pulled one over on me, I let him stay home. He complained of his stomach hurting and because I didn't have my truck (still left at work) I had no way to get him. It was at lunch time & between my several naps that he asked if we could have Chinese for lunch. UM, no - you're home sick! Then that afternoon after school was out he wanted to play with friends - no, you're sick. That night - video games - no, you're sick. He did miss a food fight at school, THANK GOODNESS he was home as I am sure he would have thrown a grape! ; )
OK, well hope I didn't gross you out too bad. That's pretty much been it for the week.
Peace!

Sorry to hear you have been sick. You poor thing! Sounds like you put on a show at work. I started laughing when you talked about Brian getting upset for you getting sick in the truck. Sean would have pulled over in the middle of traffic for me to do it outside of his car!!! LOL. Hope you are better!
Holy Cow --- You told me you were sick, but I didn't realize it was at work. OH YOU POOR GIRL! That would be the worst getting sick at work. Glad your all better ... stay well. : ) bb
