It is one of the blessings of old friends that you can afford to be stupid with them. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
Ah, our annual Girl's Weekend was a blast. We stayed at Basswood Resort and shopped in Leavenworth & Weston. I cannot spill the entire pot of beans because of the golden rule: "What happens at girl's weekend stays at girl's weekend"
What I can tell you about is an item I saw (that I wished I had purchased!) POO-POURRI - "Spritz the bowl before you go... and no one else will ever know!" In these little boutiques we shopped their bathrooms are decorated so with bathroom related merchandise you can purchase. We were early in shopping and wasn't sure if I wanted to shell out $15 for this stuff.
I would also like to tell you about a store we shopped called Bella Company - One of the girls has purchased art work from her before down in KC; with a new office to decorate she was on a mission to purchase more art. (Compliments of Mr. George) We got their early about 45 mins before they were set to open. However, they were nice enough to open and let us shop! We got to meet the artist herself and most of the dogs - Luna, Noodle and Helen. All rescue dogs. Helen is blind and bless her heart she'd bump into our shins, tables and doorways. Noodle was most lovable and Luna - well Luna was just there enjoy the atmosphere without a care in the world. Bella (who started it all) was her yellow lab who passed from cancer a few years ago. They have the most adorable back and white photograph of her on a banner above the store.
Hmmm, not much more I can spill. I feel like I'm a little more well informed of flight patterns in times at KCI! Our cabin was at the end of the run way. A lot more flights leave on Friday evening as opposed to Sat and Sun! I wonder if people that actually live up there ever get used to the sound?
See you tomorrow! Take care.

Never look down on someone unless you are helping them up. ---- but don't help them up if they are doing YOGA exercises. ; )
NO KIDDING!!! Instead, kick them in the ass to get them out of the way! :)
Sounds like you had a great time! Awwww! Sweet puppies! Poor little blind guy!
