OK, I'll be the first to admit Face Book has been an addiction for me. The nosy little girl I am, I cannot help but search and see what and who I might find out there.
For all you readers that don't know in the past month this is what's happened.
-I've found out I have my job, I'm good till the next round - who knows when that will be.
-We've moved offices, this is my second day in my new home. I have a fun bunch to sit by, about time!
-Ty is almost done with baseball and I'm happy! And yes, there is all ready meetings for football.
-He's also done with elementary school and headed to junior high next year! Attended his D.A.R.E. and 6th grade graduations.
-Tomorrow we (mom, Ty & I) for Florida - we're heading to Clearwater for my cousin's graduation.
-Brian still has his nose in the books and is working right along with his school work. Already time to sign up for fall classes.
-Finished my book 'The Parting' from the Courtship of Nellie Mae Fisher series. Good read cannot wait till the next book in line.
-But I started on a quick read for my trip 'Redneck Cinderella', reviews said it was funny. I hope I am not disappointed as the same author does smut romance, something I am not into.
Well, that's about it. I'm sure you already know about me getting ejected out of Ty's baseball game and how Ty mowed the yard when no one was home!!! If not, look me up - we'll have lunch and laugh so hard we'll have water spewing out our noeses!
: ) Peace

M.I.A.
I've been sucked into Face Book lately, that's were you'll find me hanging out. I've been busy keeping up with My Farm and playing Mafia Wars all while being entertained with Stacey and Tina posting past photos of us as kids and sharing memories.
I think all of you that read this knows of my ejection from last Friday night's game. Well, there was a close call last night again. Our poor catcher took a hard hit in the head from a baseball thrown from right field. He had his helmet off while trying to make the play, runner didn't slide and it knocked him to the ground in an instant. There was immediate attention to him. HOWEVER, one assistant coach and ump wanted to argue the play that the runner should have been out since he didn't slide. (This is normally the rule - when there is a play at home runner should slide or it's an out) I spoke up and asked if the game could be forgotten for a minute and the attention be on the poor kid.
F.Y.I. - There's a FULL MOON and people are nuts! Myself included.
We received word that K Gray has suffered a minor concussion and the CT scan was good. Thank you Jesus!
Following up on my movie post - I was very disappointed in The Boy in the Stripped Pajamas. Flash of Genius was good. And Ghost of Girlfriends Past was also good.
Peace

NOW SHOWING
I've got an itch for movies lately.
I REALLY enjoyed our "BBs" movie night, as mentioned here's a group of women watching a movie and you would think it would be a chic flick, instead we are gathered around watching "Slumdog Millionaire" - it's a VERY good movie.
Dom recommended "The Tiger and the Snow" which is a foreign film thus - subtitles.
No one wanted to 'read' a movie with me, so I watched it this weekend all by my lonesome. It was a good love story... (Since Dom doesn't read this anymore, I bet I am safe to tell you... no, I cannot do that to him.)
I also started watching "The Lucky Ones" last night. It didn't do well at the movies, not a lot of action, but thus far I have enjoyed it and Brian got a couple of loud chuckles out of it... I just picked it up for Rachel McAdams - I really like her.
The other two left to watch is "Flash of Genius" & "The Boy in Striped Pyjamas"
Peace!
