I had to write yet another nasty gram to the cafeteria,
Today I ordered a pizza but didn't order the attitude that came with it. My pizza was dressed with 5 black olives, a few pieces of pepperoni and a sneeze of cheese. I asked for additional cheese and for it to be cooked longer, that’s when your employee got attitude. (Oh, and when adding wood to the fire, wouldn't you do this while there aren't any pizzas in the oven? I just wouldn’t think it’s sanitary to throw pieces of wood over pizzas while cooking) Once my pizza was heated a little more he asked me, "Is this black enough for you?" I mentioned to him it was fine and it was for here. He then plated it and proceeded to throw my slip on top of my pizza all without a thank you. Gee thanks. That was very unprofessional and uncalled for and I wasn't appreciative of the attitude at all! You’re prices are high and I expect nothing less than satisfaction of my lunch.
Oh behalf of my friend, I’ll mention that the dark headed kid isn’t grilling his sandwiches again. His grilled cheese is nothing more than a cheese sandwich.
Thank you for addressing our concerns. Best regards, Kelly
Peace!

I'm not sure what to talk about...
... I still don't know about my job. My nails are gone and my finger tips hurt. I have restless nights, tense neck & shoulders and lovely headaches.
It's not that I am worried about my job. Because I know there's life after this place and God will take care of us. It's just the anticipation of not knowing.
If I'm without a job - I have a summer to plan! ; )
On a brighter note... 3 more days till Girl's Weekend! We're scoping out Cole Camp, Mo hoping to find treasures. And we'll be bowling at a friend's bowling alley in Windsor. Cannot wait. I hope we have great weather.
Tyler was supposed to go on a camp out this weekend, but with the weather, I let him stay home. I am anxious to find out how many actually went.
I'm sure I've told you all that I am heading to scout camp this year with Ty. A whole 10 days in a canvas tent on a canvas cot. I'm sure there was sometime in my life where I would have thought for this to be fun. But now is NOT the time.
I got a haircut last week so that I can grow it out to put it up in a ponytail. I also have a goal to lose 20 more pounds by camp.
My total weight loss is 43.5lbs. I bought my swimsuit snug in hopes that it fits perfect by camp. Wouldn't it be a shame if it was too big by then and would have to find something different?!?!
Also, today I am doing Meals on Wheels. I am excited for that. OK, I'll check in later.
Peace.

We went to CC not CB
Lisa and I meet for dinner occasionally. Just the girls! No kids or husbands allowed!
We normally meet at Cracker Barrel (CB) but last night went to Corner Cafe (CC) for a change of pace. Lisa commented the only thing CC was lacking were the rocking chairs out front, how were we to 'rock' off the food we just ate?!
At CB we meet early enough that our fellow patrons are the average age of 70 plus! Oh we laugh and have a good time with it. We're the youngest there! At CC there is a wide range of folk and even at 5:30p there was a wait time of 5-10 minutes. (If you haven't tried it, you should as you are missing out!)
BUT don't order the Homemade Chicken & Noodle Dinner and I'll tell you why. This is how the description reads: "Real comfort food! Hand-rolled noodles, hunks of chicken in a rich creamy broth makes this a true delight!" And it has the little icon next to it to show it's a favorite. I ordered this as I wanted to try something different from what I usually order like breakfast or the tenderloin. And this MUST be good as it had the icon! I am thinking its BIG chucks of chicken with LOTS of noodles in a CREAMY broth. I saw our waitress heading to our table with our food and I start to salivate! She brought me a bowl of chicken noodle soup... I thought, "Wow, this is nothing as I expected." Disappointment big time. I had broth but their definition of 'creamy' is sure different than mine. I may of had a whole 3 noodles and a few shreds of chicken. It was good for SOUP but that's not what I ordered. Then our waitress wasn't any thing of average. I think she was just dumped off in front of the restaurant doors that night from the turnip truck! "Doot Dah Do"
Happens every time. I should just stick to what I know as Lisa did. She had the opened face chicken fried chicken sandwich and ooh did it look good. She offered half but I declined. I know what to order next time!
After dinner we headed to Dress Barn and K & G Fashions to find her daughter a communion dress. Dress Barn had some really nice clothes on the skinny side. Makes me want to lose weight even faster. We looked on the women's side too but that style was 'grandma' old. We lucked out at K & G. While there we looked at the purses in which we rolled laughing as they had a purse with brass knuckle handles. I put it on and told Lisa I was going to beat her down with my purse! LOL! It was only 9.99 and came in gold! Should have picked it up!
OK, well, just found out that out layoff announcements have been put on hold for another week. Lucky me. Guess I should do some work! :)
Peace
