Hi, I know it's been a couple of days.

I've been busy here at work 'putting out the fires' that's been burning my desk for a while now. I have been told by CEOs and higher ups that we are supposed to be a company that's 'easy to do business with'. BUT there is so much internal red tape it lights my short fuse. I try to fight it and push back but it never works out nor do I get the immediate help I need from my manager. I'd gotten tired of it and finally pushed all that to the side. Well, times up. Something needs to be done with it and the time is now. That is before they lay me off. No, no, no - I'm not certain of that but that day will eventually come. There is life after this place!

I really don't have much else to say. Brian has been consumed with school and homework. Tyler is wrapped up in Call of Duty on the Wii Wi-fi. And I am mentally exhausted once I come home at night. And dOg is always there to welcome us home with his stinky breath and fur! :) My house is still screaming for a cleaning, I keep putting that at the bottom of the list. I'm thinking of taking dOg this weekend and treating him to a much needed bath. I like going to those self serve pet washes, I like that I can leave the mess behind! Many of times I thought about doing it at home but the thought of a water logged bathroom and a drain full of hair is not a pleasant one.
