Ah, Fall

Everyone must take time to sit and watch the leaves turn. ~Elizabeth Lawrence

Yesterday I walked out of work and could actually smell fall. I loved it. The air was crisp, the leaves were falling and all the pungent scents were abound. I became excited as I want to take a trip to the country side and see the trees changing into their beautiful arrays of purple, red, orange, yellow and brown. I want to visit a pumpkin patch and pick out that perfect one. I want to take a hayride pulled by a tractor and sip apple cider. I want to sit around a campfire and listen to old ghost stories...

Unlike my faithful friend, Stac, I do enjoy the fall and the winter. Each season has their remarkable beauty. Living in the Mid-West I am blessed enough to see that throughout all seasons. I am not so sure I would take pleasure in celebrating Christmas wearing shorts & sandals - that's just not right for this girl.

This weekend I plan to put the rest of our Halloween decorations up. We visited Spirit last night. Saw all kinds of creepy decorations. I think I even saw Brian's lip curl like the Grinch's with a sly smile. - NOT until Tyler no longer Tricks or Treats!

Stac, we do not do crafts on girl's weekend. I think I said crafting and what I meant by that was shopping for crafts.

Peace

First off how did we go to the same school and I didn't get the writing abilities that you have? I must not have paid attention in that class.

As I get older and older I can't stand the cold more and more.

Just think about this...in Florida when you get a bicycle for Christmas you don't have to wait 4-5 months just for the chance to ride it! Also, they decorate their boats up like you would a Christmas tree and do parades on the ocean. Now how cool would that be? Never having to wear long johns, coats, sweatshirts, boots. I would love it. =)
